Balti Biometaan OÜ holds the project management position in Siiman Farm biomethane pilot project. Produced biomethane will be used in transportation. Approximately 70 000 tons of substrates will be fed to biomethane plant digester. Current biomethane project is a very important and has quite symbolic significance in Estonian biogas sector. Local government interest in the deployment of biomethane is increasingly growing, and it is also attractive for the production of agricultural businesses.
Biomethane production plant is developed by Biometaan OÜ which belongs to following shareholders: Järve Kaubanduskeskus OÜ, Mangeni PM OÜ and Balti Biometaan OÜ.
On 7th of September 2018 was official opening of Siiman Farm biomethane plant.
